Sports cultivate an integral part of the identity of a nation. Countries are recognized by their popular sports and sports legends. Pakistan remained at the top of the charts with several Olympic & commonwealth medals on its chest and multiple winning trophies in squash, hockey and cricket.

There is no doubt that Pakistan is rich in terms of talented sportspersons. Our young athletes have proven their abilities countless times. The winners of the commonwealth games 2022 are the best recent example to quote, especially the wrestling champions of Pakistan, Zaman Anwar, Muhammad Inam Butt, Tahir Sharif and Inayat Ullah managed to shine bright throughout the game. Having trained in a tough environment grounds that have no foam installed with inadequate facilities, only the most proficient coach could lead this team on its way to success.

The face behind 5 shining commonwealth medals is Ghulam Farid, the Head Coach of Pakistani Wrestling Team. He trained the team to overcome all the obstacles and kept the athletes motivated throughout their journey. He is a qualified coach from the United World Wrestling and the International Olympic Committee in Pakistan, representing Pakistan as a member of 12th edition of the International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Program 2019 to 2022. Having completed two modules in USA Delaware University and USA Olympic Committee, he has now moved to the final Module in Switzerland.
